Firestarter

Any tips on how to draw a guy burning himself to death by calling down a firestorm that destroyed everything within a 20mile radius of him? The idea's based on Lavan Firestorm from Mercedes Lackey's Brightly Burning, but this is for a different universe. If this were a forest scene, he'd be a pretty good Lavan, since this firestarter is so powerful that the power got out of control and consumed him at a very young age.
